Under 14s celebrate Leeds and District Cup success

On Sunday 14th April, Wigton Moor Athletic U14’s were triumphant in the Leeds and District Cup final with victory over Chapeltown.

Despite going 1-0 down, the Wigton boys managed to fight back to draw level before the half time break.

In the second half, it was Blues that stepped up a gear and dominated the game, scoring three more goals to eventually run out 4-1 winners.

A great win for a top team, many of who have been playing together since they were four-years-old. Here they are with their medals and the trophy!
